To get the “game score”, before the round, select one par 3, two par 4s, and one par 5 that you hate. After completing the round, you’ll subtract the score on those three holes from the net score. Prizes awarded per flight.
Stableford is a scoring system in golf that, rather than counting the total number of strokes taken, involves scoring points based on the number of strokes taken at each hole.
To get the “game score”, a player earns Stableford points as follows:
1 point for a double bogey
2 points for a bogey
4 points for par
6 points for a birdie
8 points for an eagle.
Total your GAG Stableford points for the round and write them on the score card. Prizes are award to the highest scores per flight.
Individual scoring. And join us for the Luncheon!
For the “game score”, when a player hits a tee shot that lands in the short grass (it doesn’t matter how far it goes), the player will mark her card with a ‘dot’. On par 3s, the tee shot must land on the green to earn a ‘dot’. Once the player is on the green, the player will record all putts (example 33 putts). At the end of the round, a player earns 5 (five) points for each ‘dot’. (Example: 11 fairways = 55 points.) The “game” score for the round will be the total fairway points less the total putts. (Example: 55 fairway points minus 33 putts.) Prizes will be awarded by highest points per flight.
Individual scoring.

Contestants must have played in or been credited for five Tuesday league days during the season to be eligible. All contestants, including defending League Champion, must sign up for the League Championship. Current handicaps apply throughout the League Championship.
The tie breaking procedure will be: (1) total the scores for the last nine holes; (2) total the scores for the last six holes; (3) total the scores for the last three holes; (4) lowest score on the 18th hole.
All contestants must sign up for the League Championship and be able to play BOTH Tuesdays to be eligible for prizes.
Tournament Committee will assign foursomes on both days of play. Players need to be flexible with tee times.
• Day 1 of tournament: foursomes tee off in flights from the lowest to highest handicaps
• Day 2 of tournament: foursomes tee off in flights from highest to lowest gross scores from Day 1
• Players golfing on tournament days but not participating in the tournament must tee off after all tournament players. Non-tournament players cannot play in with tournament players.
Individual scoring.

For the “game score”, before you tee off, select two par 5's, three par 3's, and four par 4s. At the end of the round, total the gross score for these nine holes. Then subtract 1/2 your handicap. That will be your game score.
To get the “game score”, following the round, compare the scores you recorded on No. 1 and No. 10 and circle the lower of the two. Compare No. 2 and No. 11 and circle the lower of the two, and so on through No. 9 and No. 18. For the net, subtract 1/2 your handicap. Winners will be determined by lowest net scores per flight.
For the “game”, you'll play a head-to-head match against a player with a similar handicap BUT you won’t find out who it is until after the round (hence “Blind Individual” Match Play!) The higher HC player’s card will have dots that indicate holes where the player can deduct a stroke. Calculate your stroke count per hole but deduct a stroke if you have a dot for that hole. The Tournament Committee will then calculate the Match Play points per hole. Win a hole = 1 point. Tie a hole = 1/2 point. Win the Blind Match = 2 points. Prizes will be awarded to the top three Match Play totals per flight.
The “game score” is the total gross score less the total putts for the round.

To get the “game score”, tally your score for the game by counting only par 4s. Total gross would be the total of only the par 4s. Then calculate your net by subtracting 1/2 your handicap. That is your “game score”. Winners will be determined by lowest net scores per flight.
At the end of the round, each golfer finds her three worst scores. And those scores disappear. Throw them out. Adios. The 15 holes that remain are added up to create The Three Little Pigs score.
Another chance to tune up your golf game with Straight Golf! Individual scoring.
Welcome to the first day of GAG League 2024! See you on the course and at the luncheon.
